What is National CBD Day?
It seems there is a day in the calendar dedicated to just about everything now. Yes. And why not? Having an excuse to celebrate something we love or draw our attention to something a little bit weird or underappreciated, should be welcomed and encouraged, especially in the current time we find ourselves in.
This year, National CBD Day falls on 8th August, sitting between National Lighthouse Day (7th) and National Rice Pudding Day (9th) with National Spoil Your Dog Day coming up right after that. This sounds like a busy weekend to us!
At beleaf, we will be focusing on the 8th.
This day was added to the calendar by CBD advocates to draw attention to this often stigmatised, sometimes confusing thing we call Cannabidiol and shine light on the benefits it can bring to people’s lives. Whether for problem skin, aching muscles, or a sound night’s sleep.
We are championing their spirit and are celebrating this day with a focus on education. At beleaf, our mission is to create a space to have an open and honest discussion and believe not only that ‘knowledge is power’ but that knowledge allows room for choice. We are passionate about spreading awareness of the benefits of CBD and helping others build their knowledge in order to have more informed options in their lives.
For us, this is a day to open up our minds and start new conversations around cannabis and hemp, further diving into what this amazing plant can offer. We will be shouting out about how we have seen and experienced life changing results with CBD and will be listening in to our community’s questions, concerns and experiences.
